Complete Stone

The meteorite was found in its original state, as a complete and unbroken stone. It appears to have been partially buried in the iron-rich, red soil characteristic of the Australian continent. Only small portions of its darker side were exposed to sunlight, while the rest remained underground.

This meteorite fits perfectly in a slightly larger membrane frame, which comes with a stand to allow viewing from all sides. Additionally, a Certificate of Authenticity is included, confirming its origin and condition.

50 stones totaling ~10 kg (largest, 1.6 kg) were found by a prospector in a 2 ´ 4 km area of a sheep station. Mineralogy and classification (C. Lewis and J. Clark, Arizona State University): olivine, Fa19.  The stewnfield of stones was found by a prospector searching for gold. These stones have a brown fusion crust most are stained by the deep red dirt of the Australian outback.
