Originally two specimens were found in a brook-bed in very remote location of the Magadan district. It was rediscovered in ~2004 where a massive recovery project yielded about 30 tons. It is easily the largest pallasite discovery to date. The olivine crystals are randomly dispersed in NiFe in clusters and layers. It is very stable iron.
