Huckitta Window

HUK9-1

Pallasite Window

The Huckitta specimen is  ground down and polished on one side to reveal  the dark colored olivine surrounded by solid ni-iron metal. Much of the meteorites from this locale were badly oxidized; altering ithe ni-iron to maghemite.  The sample is the best preserved metallic phase we have seen.  Provided in a riker box or membrane frame.
