Gold Basin Half

GB15E

Arizona Chondrite

The specimen is the half of an individual. The cut surface shows the structure of this H6 chondrite. The Gold Basin meteorites are an ancient fall; fresh metal glimmers in the cross section. The riker box is too small: it will be shipped in a labeled polypropylene bag.
