Amazing Pallasite

The beautiful “Fukang” meteorite slice herein is a perfect example of the large crystaline olivine with in the nickel-iron matrix.  The contrast between the metallic and silicate phases in this pallasite makes it the stand out specimen in any collection. The close-up captured the chatoyancy in olivine minerals. One finished side of the slice is polished, etched and sealed in opticon.  The photo (#4) with frame lining up with the meteorite sides illustrates the unfinished back. Sold with a medium membrane frame (4.3″ / 11 cm).
