Boxhole

Boxhole’s 170 meter(560′)crater has an estimated of about 50,000 years. Henbury not far from Boxhole is another medium octahedrite; although it is visible distinctive. Troilite inclusions seen in some cut sections.

Broken Hill

Newspapers reported a large bolide, explosions and an earth movement in the region. Searchers found this meteorite that is obviously from an earlier fall. A 34kg stone was found in an area of sand dunes; mineralogy and classification (B.Birch, Mus. of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia), homogeneous olivine, Fa25.6, J.N.Grossman, Met. Bull. 80, MAPS, 1996, 31, p.A175.

Camel Donga

Camel Donga is a brecciated, monomict, basaltic eucrite containing lot of metal, for a eucrite. It sticks to a magnet. These specimens were pick up shortly after the fall and preserved in the Western Australia Museum in Perth. They have an export permit issued by the Department of Cultural Heritage.
